Like it or not, we’re all competing in the ideas industry and those with the best ideas are the ones winning. After going through a hard evaluation process, being judged by the international expert jury and given live votes from the participants of Conventa Trend Bar New Europe, the winners of Conventa Best Event Award 2020 are finally known.
Although the meetings industry is among the most affected ones, it obviously does not lack ingenuity, determination and resilience. The 10th “Conventa Crossover” – a two-day festival traditionally organized in Ljubljana, Slovenia – was held online, successful in its efforts to adjust to the new circumstances.
The competition took place under the watchful eye of the esteemed international expert jury and the evaluation was implemented according to the Pareto efficiency model (80% votes came from the jury, while 20% of votes came from the live audiences). The assessment criteria included innovation, relevance, creative practices, execution method, event legacy, communication, and compliance with sustainability policies.

“Recognizing, evaluating and awarding the best events is of utmost importance for our industry. The recipients of the award pave the way to the future and continue to inspire us all” said Gorazd Čad, the founding father of the competition.
